THE NIGHTINGALE by KRISTIN HANNAH was a thought-provoking, well written, memorable read. This book took me a little while to get into it but by page 200 I was hooked. I know that was about half way into the book, I was interested in this story from the beginning but that is when it really caught my attention. For me it was a beautifully told historical fiction that was very moving. I would highly recommend this unforgettable story. I don’t read many historical fiction books and sometimes I don’t remember a book that I have previously read as I tend to read in the moment. But this book I am sure I will remember always!!!
