Valerie's Home Cooking: More than 100 Delicious Recipes to Share with Friends and FamilyValerie’s Home Cooking: More than 100 Delicious Recipes to Share with Friends and Family by Valerie Bertinelli

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Valerie’s Home Cooking is an absolutely gorgeous, warm, and inviting cookbook with mouthwatering & delicious looking recipes. I love Valerie Bertinelli and own all of her other books & cookbooks. I will be purchasing this one as well to add to my personal cookbook collection and can hardly wait to actually hold it in my hands. I particularly like this one as it feels so personal and I really enjoyed all the stories behind each recipe. It has such beautiful looking pictures, wonderful everyday recipes and easy-to-follow steps. Easy and simple is my way of cooking! Thank you so much to Valerie Bertinelli, Time Inc. Books / Oxmoor House Books, and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for a review.  Highly recommend!

    1. Thank you so much! I don’t know where I have been because I didn’t even realize that she had a show on Food Network! I quickly set up a timer on my PVR to record all of her upcoming shows! I’m going to purchase myself a copy of this cookbook as it looks like I will be using it lots! 🙂

  2. Rita H says:

I’m eager to obtain this book for my own because I like to own cookbooks that are more than just page after page of listed recipes. I’ve read her memoir and learned from that one that she and her new husband are “foodies” and discerning wine drinkers. Looks like a fun read to me, so thanks for highlighting it!

    1. Oh you are so very welcome Rita! It was a fun read and all the recipes look so good and easy to prepare! I like that! I like cookbooks that are more than just recipes too. I liked the personal stories that she included with the recipes. I think Valerie Bertinelli is such a great person!
