What We Finished
The Promise Between Us by Barbara Claypole White
I read The Promise Between Us with Lindsay.
“Every thought is just a thought until you assign it meaning.”
Angie Alexander, founder of friends with OCD
WHAT WE THOUGHT:
We really appreciated all the information and learning more about what it is like for someone living with OCD. However, we struggled with connecting with the characters and would of like to be shown through the characters instead of being told.
WHO I RECOMMEND TO:
I recommend to readers who are interested or curious in a story about what it’s like to live with OCD.
For Lindsay’s review
The Real Michael Swann by Bryan Reardon
Norma and I read The Real Michael Swann with six of our Traveling Sisters. Interesting and clever plot around a disaster with some family drama and a bit of a love story to this thriller.
WHAT WE THOUGHT:
We had some different views and thoughts on this one. For some of us, it was a fast-paced race to the end, and for others, it was weighted down by the family drama.
WHO WE RECOMMEND TO:
We recommend to readers who like a little family drama to their thrillers.
To see our different views you can find our Traveling Sisters reviews, on Goodreads:
