The 2018 Traveling Sister Choice Awards

It’s that time of year…..Goodreads members from all over the world have voted and chosen their favourite books.   The 10th Annual Goodreads Choice Awards winners were announced and we wanted to see how the winners compared to what our Traveling Sisters voted for.   Such a very exciting time especially for our group of Traveling Sisters who have dedicated so many hours to choosing, reading and discussing books from our mountainous and ever-expanding TBR piles.

  1. Personally I found the Traveling Sisters picks more in line with the type of books I like. I’ve read a few of them and others are on my TBR list. I was a little disappointed in the Goodreads choices, mostly because I haven’t read many of them and I’m not that interested either. Good to know I’m not alone!

    1. You’re definitely not alone Carol! That is why we came up with this idea. Happy to hear you’re in agreement with our choices. Hope you’re reading something fantastic now! ❤️💚

  2. Now that’s more like it!! I think that Goodreads put more “mainstream” choices up for the initial vote, making it hard for some “under the radar” gems to garner enough votes to win..Love the results and the fun idea!

  3. Yayyy! I loved this. This time around some of the ones I voted for actually won!! Great idea, I think you should do it every year!

  4. I didn’t get to read most of these books even though I wanted to because life got in the way. 😔 But I’ve heard of just about all of them, and I remember reading some great reviews on them. Thanks for sharing. 😊
