Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all!
I have a very special announcement to make!!! I am so excited and proud to announce the arrival of our very first grandchild (Brenda is now a great aunt). Natalie Liann Rempel was born on January 18th, weighing 6 lbs 7 oz. We are totally in love and smitten with this adorable little girl!
I always have these random bookish questions that I’m curious about so I ask our Traveling Sisters a weekly (sometimes more) book related question. We thought it would be fun and interesting to take some of those questions to our blog and see what you all think or do. I hope that you will also join in on the discussion with us.

So wonderful to read your happy news, Norma. Our oldest granddaughter is named Natalie as well. We have three grandsons, and now in May we will have one new grandson and one new granddaughter as our second daughter is having twins. There is absolutely nothing better than be a grandparent. Congratulations to all!.

I must say that I absolutely fell in love with her name just like I fell in love with her. You are so right, being a grandparent is awesome! Congrats!! She is adorable!! I have 3 nieces, 3 nephews. And, just to be confusing, I have a 4-year-old sister and a 6-year-old brother (They were also my niece and nephew but my parents adopted both of them. Long story.).

Surgeries: a lot (I had multiple surgeries to put tubes in my ears when I was younger. As well as eye surgery to correct a lazy eye and surgery to repair my eardrum)

Ever been on TV: Yes (I was on Real World: Boston several times. The cast used to go to my work all the time when filming)

Congratulations on your grandchild Norma. My sister also became a grandmother for the first time on Jan. 22nd and her second grandchild is expected any day. Very exciting. I’ve read Black Rabbit Hall and really enjoyed it but I haven’t read any of the others in the stack so can’t really recommend anything else. If it was my choice I’d probably pick Women Talking. What a fun survey, interesting responses!
