Behind the Pages with Lisa Regan @Lisalregan

I am excited to announce Lisa Regan will be joining us in our Behind the Pages Goodreads group for a Q & A on April 23, 2020 @ 4:00 pm EST. You can find the thread here to the Q & A on Goodreads

I have some history here with Lisa Regan’s books and the Traveling Sisters started with one of her books. Finding Claire Fletcher (Claire Fletcher, #1) was one of our first books we read together and that lead to starting the Traveling Sisters reading group. One of our first blog tours was for Vanishing Girls (Detective Josie Quinn, #1) and that was how I got to know Josie Quinn. It has become one of my favorite series and Josie is one of my favorite characters. Different members have read different ones to the series from the start to the newest one out Find Her Alive (#8) with me. I have read the last few books with the same members in the group and there is some excitement in the group everything Lisa writes a new one. The thing I like the most about series is how with each book we learn something new about Josie and the demons from her past. She has one of the best character growth I have seen from a character in a thriller. With each book I grow to love her even more.

I have added part of my review here for the first book in the series.

Vanishing Girls (Detective Josie Quinn, #1)Vanishing Girls by Lisa Regan

It was Josie’s relationships and the dynamics between the characters that won me over. I became entirely invested in her relationships and found myself cheering for Josie and her high school sweetheart Ray. Now Ray is not so easy to like so this was a bit surprising for me as a non-romantic who usually does some eye-rolling at the thought of romance in a thriller of any kind. However, Lisa Regan did such a great job drawing me into their relationship, allowing me to care for them. I grew to like Josie more and more as I got to know her, and once I found out why she was suspended I liked her even more.

Lisa Regan took me down a fast-paced, intense, heart-pounding windy road with secrets and lies and shocking moments that left me quite the happy reader after finishing this one and looking forward to the next one in the series. I highly recommend.
