Here on Traveling Sisters Book Reviews Norma and I use our phrases Hot Diggity Dang and Holy Shooty Balls for our 5 star ratings. However I am now thinking that mine might be for books that I enjoy even more than 5 stars. Today I am joining up with Mama Needs a Book for her Thriller Thursday with my picks for 5 star Thrillers I rated on Goodreads. Most of them Norma did as well.
Here are my picks for this weeks Thriller Thursday: 5 star Thrillers.
We are excited Amy Engel will be joining us in The Behind the Pages group for a Q & A on May 7 to answer questions about this one and her writing process.
I just finished this one and the best way I can describe it is Masterful!!!! This isn’t just a thriller, it’s a whole lot more. There is some supernatural elements here as well that is weaved in so well developed fast paced read that clocks in at around 775 pages. Ever word helps layer this plot and developed the characters!!
I have to ask J.D Barker about this one! He will be joining us in the Behind the Pages Group May 14!
The Unwilling by John Hart is to be released June 23 and this is one not to missed. John Hart is a master in his own way with how he creates an entertaining plot with characters that add some heart and soul to the dynamics in the story.
I took this quote off John Hart’s website and I think it says a lot about this one!
“He’d fought the war as few men could. THE REAL TERROR WAITED AT HOME“
This one is no walk in the park but a sprint right to that final reveal that had left me cheering for just how brilliantly written it is. The Woman in the Park is convincing with these shocking well-layered revelations and with the characters here in this story.
This one is one fa-boo-lous scary, exciting good read that had me shaking my boo-ty to the creepy good vibe to this story. I loved the setting here and it takes on a character itself.
I am now reading John Marrs’ soon to be released book What Lies Between Us and I feel it’s going to be another Hot Diggity Dang one for me
John Marrs will be joining us in The Behind the Pages Group on May 4
There was a lot of hype created for this one and sometimes that’s not such a great thing as it creates some expectations. Well this one exceeded any I had and after reading it I thought now that is how you write a thriller
Kimberly Belle nails it here with this intense and exciting thriller. There is some great reveals here that surprised me
Kimberly Belle joined us in our Behind the Pages Group for a fantastic discussion and shared some wonderful insight into Dear Wife and Marriage Lie.
The Night Before by Wendy Walker is one exciting thriller and Wendy Walker knows how to layer those clues for her readers. Pay close attention while reading her books for clues and you will be rewarded!
