Lindsay’s review: The Swap by Robyn Harding @rhardingwriter

It’s Canada Day! Happy day to all our friends. I am excited to share Lindsay’s review with you all for one of my favorite Canadian authors. The Swap is one not to be missed. Robyn Harding joined us in our Behind the Pages group yesterday for a Q & A and answered our questions about The Swap. She shared some wonderful insight to the characters and story. I will posted some of the Q & A soon. To view the Q & A on Goodreads you can find here

Lindsay’s review

After reading the countless raving reviews, I just had to read this book. What a deliciously dramatic and shockingly addictive story. I was glued to the pages from start to finish. My curiosity consistently craved “just one more chapter”. This isn’t a super suspenseful or edge-of-your-seat thriller. For me, it was a pure entertainment read. One I sat back to absorb and enjoy instead of analyze and overthink.

This was my first book by Robyn Harding and I loved her writing! The pace and flow were perfect — I flew through the novel. The characters were a toxic bunch — all of them highly intriguing, unforgettable and unique. The storyline was full of witty and devious inner snark and palpable sexual tension. Once I started this novel, I couldn’t get it out of my mind and had to finish to see how it would all piece together. It is twisted, crazy and compulsively readable!

If you need an escape or distraction and want nothing more than to be extremely entertained, I highly recommend this book.

I look forward to devouring Robyn Harding‘s backlist and to see what she comes out with next!
